WOOD FIRED PIZZA AND HANDMADE PASTA
Barano is Chef Albert DiMeglio’s modern Italian restaurant in South Williamsburg, built around wood fire, pizza and pasta.
After more than three decades in New York’s most iconic dining rooms — and co-creating the cult favorite Rubirosa — Chef DiMeglio returned to what he loves most: cooking the classic Italian dishes he grew up on, his way. Named for his grandmother’s hometown in Ischia, Barano blends tradition with bold, contemporary energy.
The menu is meant for the table — blistered pizzas, handmade pastas, natural wines, and flavors built to share.
This is Italian food through his lens.
Come taste it.
